The Rundown: Space Ghost finds his home and base invaded by his worst enemies.

In order to procure Blip, the head of Robo Corp decides to recruit Space Ghost’s most dangerous enemy to locate the Ghost Planet. Zorak finds himself face to face with the newly formed Council of Doom as Space Ghost increasingly distances himself from Jan and Jace and Jan considers a future without the hero.

After a tense exchange between the kids and Space Ghost, Jan and Jace decide to leave just as the planet is attacked and Space Ghost is overwhelmed by enemies. As the kids return to help, their arrival might be too late to save Space Ghost or Blip.

The Story: Pepose crafts a dark and intense story in this issue. There is a great tension throughout the story and awesome action that builds with the characters and their own internal and external conflicts. I love that the story goes for big, dangerous action in the story. The fight with Space Ghost is intense, dark and thrilling from start to finish. I love the progression of this story and the cliffhanger makes me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: Lau creates some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are beautifully detailed and visually thrilling as they perfectly capture the tone and mood of the story.
